| Hello. Good news for all of you who recently wrote us telling they would suffer from a minor Solar-Impulse-deprivation: The summer break of the HB-SIA is over! Already tonight André Borschberg will take off with the solar aircraft for a new test. The primary objective of the flight will be to give pilot and ground crew the possibility to train their workflows and to get back on track after the long vacation. In addition to that landing after sunset shall be practiced as well as some new parts on the airplane such as fresh batteries will be tested. The start should take place around 19 o'clock CEST, the landing is scheduled for 21 o'clock, depending on flight status and weather conditions. More information later. | ||
