| FINANCING STRUCTURE Solar Impulse’s Partners have in common a pioneering spirit, a long-term vision and a desire to explore new horizons. They share the basic values and enthusiasm of the project: exploration, technological innovation, entrepreneurial excellence, passion, teamwork, dream and emotion. Like Solar Impulse’s initiators, they want to use these values to promote renewable energies and the technology necessary for protecting the environment. The companies, organizations and individuals interested in associating themselves with the values conveyed by the project have three ways of participating: Partnerships In order to achieve this human and technical adventure, Solar Impulse needs financial support. Here, we are not referring to traditional sponsors… but to Partners who are sharing the same dreams, objectives and values, and who want to “fly” the Solar Airplane around the world with us. Beyond a media coverage out of the ordinary, a partnership with Solar Impulse offers powerful internal and external communication platforms and numerous activation opportunities for the next years. By becoming Partner of Solar Impulse, companies can also use their immense expertise and directly contribute to the success of the project in their respective domains. Small companies to worldwide corporations join our “family” through one of our Partnership opportunities. Angel program Individuals have the opportunity to contribute towards the project’s financing, through subordinated loans and to live the adventure from within as members, advisors or ambassadors of the team. Sustainable Flight Foundation This foundation, subject to the surveillance authority for Swiss foundations, was established to finance the research and development of new solutions in the context of aeronautical projects using renewable energies and serving the cause of sustainable development. |
