I’m in charge of purchasing all materials for our production; quality control of incoming parts and maintaining high safety level in workshop. I develop and coordinate logistics for transport of airplane as well as logistic support for flight activities.

Biography

• Early retirement in 2002 after 32 years of different activities in the airline industry
• Since then different mandates as consultant for several airlines companies in Europe and Africa
• Joined Solar Impulse in Summer 2007 as passionate aviation freak

Biography:

I was born and raised in Switzerland and graduated from the Swiss School of Tourism in Sierre (VS). I am passionate about travel and languages and after working in the tourism industry in Switzerland and Mexico for 10 years I am very happy to have recently changed direction and joined the SI team in Lausanne.

As Editor and Blogger, my role is to convey Solar Impulse in words to audiences worldwide by creating a voice for every minute aspect of the project. Apart from maintaining the blog, I am responsible for all written communication necessary for the advancement of the project including press releases, written communication to partners and supporters and more.
