At Bekaert, we continue to progress on our Sustainability ambition. Since 2019, we’ve reduced 8.3% of our Scope 1 & 2 carbon emissions. In 2022, our carbon emission targets were officially validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), reinforcing our commitment to tackle climate change.
In addition, we made strides in innovating new sustainable solutions and executing our green energy strategy, as well as received the Advanced Performer in Decarbonization Award by the European Union Chamber of Commerce China.
