Oceanwings is a beyond state-of-the-art rigid wing sail technology that solves the environmental and economic dilemma faced by shipowners: reducing their environmental footprint while remaining profitable. The Oceanwings enables up to 45% savings in vessels’ fuel consumption and a subsequent reduction in CO2 emissions. Shipowners will thereby both decrease their environmental impact so as to abide by the IMO legislation and improve their operating margins. The Oceanwings can achieve such results because of its two-element wingsail that provide unrivalled aerodynamic lift with limited drag and of its unique automated software, AIUTO, that automatically sets up the ideal wing sail angle of attack and camber to maximize its thrust.
