About
Action & Transition animates an ecosystem with a decade of experience in citizen and professional sustainable transition.
Through 3 generations of platforms we innovated in a variety of fields, including with companies such as McDonald's France and Maisons du Monde or the citizens of the City of Montreux and now Geneva.
Our success is to effectively change habits and behaviors while delivering quantified results in each community.
Our solutions propose practical actions to commit to, linked to effective transition solutions. Impacts are measured and aggregated in a personal or group transition account.
Our approach to transition is centered around the individual, focusing on both personal and professional aspects of daily life and direct responsabilities. We therefore cover all sustainable transition themes such as mobility, consumption, energy, well-being, biodiversity and more. Going much beyond carbon footprints, we enable individuals and communities to commit practical actions they select for their own change journey and measure progress (and savings !) action by action.
Individuals and groups are provided with a transition account that accumulates any impacts resulting from the actions they commited to : CO2, m3 of water, kgs of waste or tress planted. Plus money savings.
These transition accounts create the willingness to contribute on a continuous basis, share and communicate progress to others. The solution usage is highly pedagological, promoting personal and collective responsibility.
In 2023 and beyond, Action & Transition plans to expand its impact through new initiatives and partnerships. It includes working with academic institutions to encapsulate transition knowledgte and make it actionable and measurable. This will be acheived through the deplyment of "Impacts Factories" gathering a team of students for 6 months producing 20 or so actions on a specific focus areas, a profession or a citizen theme such as mobility.

The Solar Impulse Efficient Solution label seeks to bridge the gap between ecology and economy, bringing together protection of the environment and financial viability to show that these solutions are not expensive fixes to problems, but rather opportunities for clean economic growth.
