We are a student team at the TU Delft, NL, designing the world's first liquid hydrogen-powered aircraft.
About
AeroDelft was founded in October 2017 by students at the TU Delft, The Netherlands with the goal of becoming an incubator for student aeronautical projects. The team is working on Project Phoenix, a two-seat, liquid hydrogen-powered motor glider to fly for the first time in 2021 which will eventually have a range of 2000km. Around 30 students from 4 universities in the Netherlands, Germany and Italy are involved in the project. AeroDelft hopes to make an impact on the aerospace industry by promoting sustainable aviation and driving student innovation.
