The buildings consume more than 40% of the total energy and are responsible of 35% of the greenhouse gaz emissions. To pursue the dual ambition of energy gains and economic growth, the Commission published in 2020 the strategy "A Renovation Wave for Europe" that aims to at least double the annual energy renovation rate by 2030 and in addition to reducing emissions and creating green jobs in the construction sector.
In this context, Batiprint3D offers the means to meet the challenge and accelerate the sites of building renovation : it has developed an autonomous robotized system for the external thermal insulation of the façades with a high productivity rate and the garantee of a good quality of execution. Off site, the system is programmed from the digital data of the building. On site, the system is operated by one person from the ground ; it moves on a masts structure along the façade and sprays the insulating material directly on the external walls.
