BeFC is enabling environmentally friendly electronics using an organic energy solution to minimise impact to the environment. We believe our approach will not only allow the replacement of toxic batteries for existing applications, but also unlock new opportunities for low-power health monitoring, logistics / transportation monitoring, and Internet of Things (IoT) applications.
Our paper-based biofuel cells can power sensors (shock, temperature, humidity, pressure, pH.... ), mircoprocessors and communication modules (RFID, NFC, Bluetooth, LoRaWAN, Sigfox...) to transmit data wirelessly on your smartphone or to the cloud.
