About

BioStart is positioned in the market for removing chemical and biological micro-pollutants from the aquatic environment.
More than 110,000 chemical substances are estimated to be in use within the EU. Some of these substances, micro-pollutants, can have toxic properties at minute concentrations in a given environment (of the order of one microgram per litre in water). The EU Water Framework Directive (2000/60/CE), adopted by the European Parliament and Council in 2000, imposes on member states the requirement to take action to preserve water quality.
Our offer: a green alternative for removing micro-pollutants from water that’s more effective, less expensive and adaptable to major players’ existing installations. The challenge : to provide simple, effective solutions to water treatment operators.
