About

Ecoware is India’s first and largest sustainable food packaging company. The Ecoware range of 28 compostable products includes tableware, cutlery and takeaway packaging. All products are 100% natural and biodegradable in 90 days. They use only local raw materials thereby keeping their costs and carbon footprint low. Ecoware takes immense pride in being over-certified. Ecoware is the only USDA Bio-based certified manufacturer in India, is PFAS free, and have been audited on Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) parameters and achieved $2.41 of impact for every $1 invested. Ecoware has been recognised for its efforts to promote the principles of a circular economy by finishing runner up in the Indian Circular Economy Awards and by being a finalist at The Circular Awards presented by the World Economic Forum in Davos. Ecoware has 12 sales partners globally, 23 distributors in India and 150+ point-of-sales shops across India. They export to Sri Lanka, Kuwait, Peru, France, Ecuador, Kenya, South Africa and the Caribbean. Ecoware actively works with farmers to turn their biomass - which is usually burned, which is both financially and environmentally detrimental - into a source of positive outcomes. From rice to sugarcane to wheat to bamboo, Ecoware is taking what was once waste and turning it into a 100% eco-friendly product curbing the production of plastics and their dispersion into the natural environment.
