SOLCOLD IS DEVELOPING A UNIQUE MATERIAL, NO THICKER THAN A BUSINESS CARD. ONCE APPLIED TO A SURFACE OF AN OBJECT, THE SUN’S RADIATION TRIGGERS A REACTION IN OUR MATERIAL. THIS REACTION CONVERTS THE HEAT ACCUMULATED IN THE OBJECT IT IS APPLIED TO - INTO RADIATION. THIS RADIATION IS THEN EMITTED IN A PROCESS CALLED ‘ANTI-STOKES FLUORESCENCE’, THUS PROVIDING THE COOLING EFFECT. SO BASICALLY, SOLCOLD’S MATERIAL FUNCTIONS AS IF IT WERE A THIN LAYER OF ICE THAT GETS THICKER AND COOLER AS THE SUN GETS STRONGER

Description
Active cooling coating that cools the surface it is laid on when exposed to the sun

A two layers coating for roof tops of buildings, containers, storage, etc. the coating uses SolCold's technology and cools itself when exposed to the sun.by up to 20 degrees C with a cooling power of 20W per square meter. When applied to rooftops of buildings, our material can help save up to 60% in energy costs, which translates into annual cost savings of +10,000$ per building. Just spread the first layer followed by the second layer and that's it. There is zero maintenance needed. There’s also a major positive impact on our environment – saving on these energy costs means a considerable reduction in CO2 emissions

SolCold's fabrics

Description
Active cooling fabrics that cools down when exposed to the sun

SolCold's technology can be applied also as a thin fiber with our 2 layer system are applied as the inner core and the outer cover. this fiber is then cooled below its surrounding temperature when exposed to the sun. we can integrate this fiber in fabrics to create apparels/tents etc. Price is estimated for 0.1$/meter. Our technology's cooling power is ~20W per square meter.
