Zero Labs is a startup that offers digital renewable energy as a service to help businesses and individuals worldwide program decarbonization into their operations and value chains. We create radical transparency, simplicity, and accessibility in voluntary renewable energy markets to eliminate entry barriers and transform the zero-carbon product user experience for buyers and sellers alike. Our solutions deliver proof of green operations by leveraging advanced decentralized technologies to capture key events in zero-carbon product life cycles—such as renewable energy certificate issuance, listings, transactions, and cancellations—for environmental commodity procurement, claims, and reporting in line with best practices and industry standards. The Zero Labs team includes experts from the clean energy, crypto, and design industries. Most of the team previously worked on a prior iteration of this project at Energy Web, a global non profit developing open-source decentralized tech. In our first year, we facilitated over 200,000 megawatt-hours in clean energy purchases across Europe, Asia, and the Americas by over 2,000 buyers.
