Identification

NEXT is a modular electric vehicle offering a number of mobility options, including use as a shared car, taxi, bus, last mile delivery van, a truck for long distances, or an interchange hub for passengers and goods without outdoor transshipment. NEXT is based on 'swarms' of modular electric vehicles, with each module being able to join and detach with other modules on standard city roads. When joined they create an open, bus-like area among modules, allowing passengers to stand and walk from one module to another. Modularity allows 'en-route-transfer' which optimizes system capacity, cuts cost and traffic, increase ubiquity and comfort for the passengers. This Solution not only offers an efficient transport option, but also delivers emission-free mobility for cities.
