A new product to protect houses and buildings against flooding

Identification
Climate change is causing extreme weather events that lead to increasingly frequent and violent flash floods, affecting previously unexposed areas. These cause considerable financial, ecological and psychological damage. In order to reduce these impacts, Ausec has developed the OBLOC® range of flood control products. Flood barriers absorb, block and divert water and sludge during a flood to reduce damage and waste after a flood. This lightweight, thin-looking bag increases its volume by 2400% when activated in contact with water. The patented innovation of these products provides a low storage volume, homogeneous activation and excellent water retention capacity. They are environmentally friendly and can be used independently.

- •The solution is composed of 87% recycled products (super absorbent polymers not adapted to the hygiene sector), these products are reused to reduce the waste generated following a flood - The envelope is composed of recyclable polypropylene
