Identification

The solution consists of manufacturing a ceramic tile with a thinner thickness than traditional ceramics. Its reduced thickness implies several environmental improvements with a positive impact in many aspects, lower energy consumption (gas and electricity) in its manufacture, reduction of raw materials and inks, improvements in logistics, reduction in the use of packaging and improvement in packing, introducing twice as many pieces per box, thus minimising the generation of non-hazardous waste (plastic, cardboard and wood) and producing an improvement in the elimination of this waste for the end customer. Furthermore, the fact of being able to include twice as much material in the transport allows a reduction in CO2 emissions and, therefore, makes a fundamental contribution to the minimisation of greenhouse gases.
