Willem is responsible for building up its global ecosystem of investors looking for cleantech investment opportunities among the 1000+ Efficient Solutions. He also initiated the launch the Foundation’s e-pitch matchmaking programme and is building new tools to bring investors and solutions together more efficiently. He is also co-leading the partnership of developing two investment funds dedicated to the Solutions. Willem has a professional background in strategy, consumer insights as well as financial communication, having worked as a pan-European PR consultant in real estate investment and asset management. He has a Research Master’s degree in Chinese Studies, and lived across the world speaking English, Dutch, French, German and Mandarin.
