Member - Alpha Cleantec AG

Alpha Cleantec AG (ACT) is an environmental technologies company. The company developed new approaches and unique solutions in the field of soil, groundwater, sewage and wastewater decontamination and treatment of contaminated railway ballast. The company developed two different processes (AFA and SOA) for straightforward, efficient and cost-effective in- situ generations of superoxide radical and applying of the radical as a strong oxidizing agent, under NTP conditions. Under these conditions, superoxide radicals reveal properties of a super nucleophile and super oxidizing agent which rapidly reacts with a wide range of soil and water pollutants (such as Hydrocarbons, TPH, BTEX, Petroleum leftovers, Aromatics, PAH, Chlorinated Solvents, PCB, Dioxins as well as Pesticides and Herbicides) on concertation up to 100,000 ppm and responsible for the swift mineralization of the contaminants.

About

Alpha Cleantec AG (ACT) was founded in 2016 as environmental technologies company, with experts bringing in-depth relevant technological know-how. The team of high-qualified multi-year experienced scientists and experts have reached solid and promising results to be competitive and prominent with the company’s innovative solutions on a world-wide level. The basic philosophy of the ACT team is to design tailor-made, patented and safe approaches to eliminate the impacts of the industrial activity with minimized economic input and maximum environmental-friendly output. Apart from our own R&D Division, ACT has a direct co-operation agreement with Casali Institute of Applied Chemistry in Jerusalem, Israel, which is a department within the Institute of Chemistry at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. It conducts research and development in a wide range of topics in chemistry, biotechnology and related industries. Despite its short existence, the company has been patented in national phase and approved by independent tests carried out with TÜV Süd, Germany, showing conversion rates of up to 97% and is now in the process of carrying out pilot tests and projects to prove the scale-up capacity of its technologies. ACT is very proud to be engaged in the field of environmental technologies not just as a promising business opportunity, but also to solve one of the world's greatest problem, contamination from industrial activity, and to make the Earth healthy and green again for future generations. While AFA is based on advanced Fenton and Haber-Weiss reactions activated for superoxide production. SOA is a unique process of alkali superoxide production from standard and stable shelf products. Both of our patented methodologies applicable for in-situ and on-site treatment approaches. The laboratory development phase with dozens of different types of contaminated substances and first pilot tests in a real condition has been accomplished. The technology stability and efficiency have been approved by independent tests carried out with TÜV Süd, Germany certification authority. The conversion rates of up to 97% for lab tests and pilot tests were achieved after two hours.
