Our food choices are responsible for 1/3 of man-made greenhouse gas emissions. We have the potential to reduce food related emissions by at least 50% through smart diet choices. Eaternity has a big appetite for change: We establish climate friendly meals in society. Eaternity has developed an innovative software. With it restaurants can track and measure the CO2-footprint of all their meals and purchases automatically and daily. Anyone can check on his personal food related CO₂ emissions in our public app http://app.eaternity.org and find great, delicious and healthy new recipe inspirations.
About
With the latest results in life-cycle-assessments on food productions as our starting point, Eaternity assembled one of the biggest CO2 data-bases of food items available. We integrated it into a software application. The application dynamically links the scientific information on CO2 and nutrition with the daily changing parameters in the supply chain of restaurants. Using our software, restaurants can control their greenhouse gas emissions and nutritional properties of the meal they serve.
