Description:

Supports the Structural Test Engineer in the quality control of numerous large and small scale structural aircraft components.

Responsibilities:

• Installation of measurement equipment
• Preparation and conduction of structural tests in the workshop
• Definition of test setups under aspects of functionality, feasibility, safety and cost-efficiency together with Structural Test Engineer

Skills:

• Comfortable in workshop environment and with physical work
• Team player
• Knowledge of structural mechanics and understanding of load paths
• Excellent organizational skills and strong sense of responsibility
• Ability to work under time constraints and strong result-orientated attitude
• Languages: German and English, both spoken and in written

Qualifications:

• Student in mechanical engineering
• Background in applied mechanics (apprenticeship) is an asset

• Dübendorf airfield, Switzerland

Start date / duration:

• asap, minimum 6 months
