Komebac® offers an innovative packaging solution for the logistics sector with extended product lifetime and less end-of-life waste.
Komebac® is a lightweight, 100 % recyclable packaging solution designed for multiple uses in logistics. The box is made of expanded polypropylene, offering the same functionality as a standard plastic box used for rotation packaging application but with a longer life time and a significantly lower weight (-60%). This weight reduction results in less raw material use, lower emissions and costs for transport, and benefits for operator health (less weight load resulting in less risk of injury). Extending product lifetime reduces material waste, and at the end of the product's life the material can be fully recycled. Komebac® can be used for B2B packaging used in rotation, with a lifetime of more than 10 years.
