An energy management system to optimize energy efficiency of industries

Identification
It is common for energy systems to suffer inefficiencies regarding energy optimization. In a more particular case, photovoltaic production could be lost or sent to grid when electric consumption is lower than production. SmartEMS is a connected smart box that helps adapting the energy production of several inverters of a photovoltaic installation, taking into account the power consumed by the user. It is thus possible to limit the power injection of the installations when not authorized or when the cost of connection to the network is too high. SmartEMS regulates the active power injected into the grid by controlling the maximum power point (MPPT) of the photovoltaic inverters. Photovoltaic plant operators and managers can have the SmartEMS operating adapter to meet the requirements of each self-consumption installation. This includes the collection of additional consumption points than the control and regulation of third-party consumer equipment, such as heat pumps, charging stations or power regulation components.
