Identification
How It Works- DeSpray is the world’s first aerosol can recycling system that recovers recyclable metals and liquid fuels as well as LPG from spray cans to facilitate a waste-to-energy solution and accommodate a true 100% landfill diversion while offering a truly circular economy. The de-packing “densifier” separates and removes both the propellant and liquid and saves them in separate containment tanks. An enclosed, anti-explosive chamber equipped with oxygen-monitoring sensors that protect your workers as well as the environment.

- •Our standard systems can process Range from 500 aerosol cans per hour up to 10,000 cans per hour
- •Over 20 safety features such as Oxygen detection,VOC detection, safety blow out discs on all vessels, process chamber oxygen level control which allows processing in a Non Oxygen atmosphere
- •99+% CO2 and GHG emission reduction
- •The energy consumption of the operation of the unit is less than 60KWH which is far less than the potential waste to energy captured by the process
- •The size of our system is more than 5X smaller than our closest competitive technology

The Financial benefits
- •Aerosols are currently mostly landfilled, A distant second is incineration. Our technology creates a cashflow for processing of with 1 - 2 year paybacks
- •Fuel is compressed to liquid gas which in turn creates free energy for waste to energy generation, one of our standard units captures 480 kgs of metal per hour, 4000 Kg of low grade liquid fuel
- •480 kg of high grade liquid propellant is captured for every hour of operation
